Russian Byzantine Catholic Congregations in North America - About Us
Russian Byzantine Catholic Congregations in North America - In full communion with Pope Francis I, Bishop of Rome
Our little monastic community is small but growing!  Last year we migrated from the Old Calendar Russian Orthodox in diaspora to the Russian Byzantine Catholic Apostolic Exarchate of Russia under the Pope of Rome.  (That See has been vacant since the death of Bishop Klymentiy Sheptytskyi:  Hopefully Pope Francis will appoint a new Exarch soon).

OEcumenical Patriarch of the West
Divine Liturgy of Saint John Chrysostom celebrated most Sunday mornings at 10:00 A.M.  (When new monastic facilities open in Pahrump, Nevada).

Divine Liturgy of Saint Basil the Great will be celebrated on most Duodenary Feasts (Holy Days of Obligation).

Check first before coming!  St. John Chrysostom Russian Byzantine Catholic Monastery will also be used as a Clergy Retreat Center (when built) Holy Day Liturgies not always scheduled - Depends on availability of Priests.

In the mean time, visit our sister parishes:

Russian Byzantine Catholic
Congregations in North America
Titularly under the omophorion of the Russian Byzantine Catholic Apostolic Exarch, or their Local Ordinary in the USA (Roman Catholic diocesan bishop).

There currently is no Papal Appointment for a Hierarch to govern the Russian Byzantine Catholic Congregations in the USA and around the world.  Some such parishes and missions titularly fall under the Russian Catholic Apostolic Exarchate in Russia (currently a Vacant See), but are administered by their local Roman Catholic Diocesan Ordinary in America (or other Eastern Rite Catholic Eparchy, wherever they are located).  A Russian Exarch is prayed for to be appointed at some point in the future by Pope Francis and the Dicastery for the Eastern Churches at the Vatican.
Such parishes and missions in this country are technically only an unofficial association of Russian Congregations in North America, not an actual eparchy or other jurisdiction, because we have never been canonically erected as such by the Pope of Rome.
